Job Description:
Lincoln Tech's East Windsor, CT campus is looking for experienced electricians to teach and inspire the latest generation of technicians. You would provide training in the Electrical and Renewable Energy Technology, Electrical and Electronic System Technology Electronic Engineering Technology, and High and Low Voltage Electrical Systems.
We have helped skilled technicians with little to no teaching background to become confident educators. Your knowledge and skills, along with the training and tools provided by Lincoln Tech, give you the qualifications to be an effective electrical instructor. What You'll Do
Encourage and train students in electrical skills
Teach Lincoln Tech's established curricula in a focused and engaging environment
Demonstrate Electrical Technician expertise in our fully equipped facility
Instruct students about safety and monitor for compliance
Evaluate student performance and promote growth in skills
Report to the Assistant Director of Education
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
3+ years of electrical experience
E2 License
ESPA Certification current upon hire or obtained within the determined timeframe of hire
Certified or licensed where required by law
A good understanding of the electrical industry to include the following:
NEC Codes
Intrusion / Security Alarm
CCTV Access Control
Audio / Video
Telecom / Fiber Optics
Computer Application / Networks
Rack Systems
Residential and Commercial Electrical Wiring
Preferred
Associate degree or higher
State Licensed Electrician or Journeyman credentials
Instructor and/or mentoring experience
OSHA 10 or 30 completion
