Job Description:
Retro-Tech Systems, a division of Envocore, is hiring full-time, licensed Master and Journeyman Electricians to perform a variety of skilled tasks in the installation of new lighting fixtures, LED retrofit kits, and controls. Envocore is a nationwide leader in energy service performance contracting. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks involving the use of different hand tools used to perform new fixture installation and controls or to retrofit, replace and repair existing lighting fixtures. - Perform minor electrical tasks. - Operate maintenance equipment and a variety of power tools including portable drills, table saws, aerial lifts and related equipment as required. - Other duties as assigned. Competency: - Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work. - Operate various motorized light construction equipment. - Operate various electric, gasoline powered equipment used in the work being performed. - Distinguish colors used in electrical wiring. - Demonstrate proficiency at interpreting Retro-Tech’s energy conservation measures (ECM) and price codes. -Basic installation, retrofitting, repair and maintenance procedures and practices. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Spreadsheet software and Inventory software.
