Job Description: Project Manager The Project Manager’s primary function is to project, plan, schedule, motivate and manage the Foremen to maintain the highest quality of electrical work scope for multi-unit and hospitality projects such as underground, overhead, parking lot sign service, telephone directional boring and storm restoration. The Project Manager has a responsibility for the installations of assigned jobs for ClayDean Electric. The Project Manager provides ongoing support and expertise to all reporting staff and assists the Foreman (rough and trim) in meeting job durations on time and under budget with quality installations. The Project Manager is hired by & reports to ClayDean Electric Senior Vice President. The Following Tasks Apply: Project work scope planning Material Procurement Labor Scheduling RFI Change Orders SOV-Materials and Labor Billing (% complete) Closeouts Scope/Plan Distribution Training and Commissioning Requirements: A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Project Management, Project Superintendent and/or Foreman level, including two years in field management in an electrical firm. Experience in other general construction fields will be considered. Duties & Responsibilities: • The Project Manager ensures the continued financial growth of the Company by planning work scopes, scheduling, directing and daily monitoring of general support functions. • Ensure the maintenance of a superior working environment and provide additional safeguards for the safety of all employees, clients and subcontractors. • Meets or exceeds all sales, budget and profit objectives by job as established in cooperation with the Senior Vice President. Gets Profitability by job reports from accounting. • Approve all purchase orders for material, special order materials, operating supplies, parts, equipment and services. • Ensures that the Company performs excellent quality control standards to achieve complete customer satisfaction.
