Job Description:
Bacon Plumbing, Heating, Air, and Electric is searching for a Residential Electric Service Manager. The ideal candidate will have five years of experience in managing electric technicians, installers and apprentices. The Service Manager should have a strong understanding of the residential electric business, including but not limited to team development, ensuring customer satisfaction, disciplined budget control and effectively engaging department personnel.
Responsibilities
• Organize, prioritize, & manage all daily activity involved within the Electrical Service Department
• Lead weekly huddles with the electric department and participate in weekly management meetings
• Successfully implement and met department’s financial goals and objectives
• Address and resolve customer issues within 24 hours
• Visit with technicians to help diagnose and troubleshoot complicated electrical issues and provide viable solutions
• Diagnose & repair residential electrical applications per Local and National Codes
• Communicates regularly with dispatch to ensure that personnel are being scheduled properly by skill level, efficiency and training requirements
• Work with other departmental managers to meet company and departmental goals and objectives
• Ensures that all company/department policies are being followed by all technicians

Requirements:
• Current TDLR Master or Journeyman License (Not Grandfathered)
• 5+ years of residential electrical experience
• 2+ years of management experience in residential services
• Exhibit an in-depth knowledge of and understanding of the Electric trades
• Valid Texas Driver’s License and clean Driving Record
• Must pass a Background Check
• Clean, neat and professional appearance
• Excellent customer service and sales skills
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent conflict management skills
• Excellent leadership skills to enhance team productivity
• Strong attention to detail and to manage multiple tasks and assignments
• Team player with "can do" attitude
• Good computer skills: knowledge of common office applications such as MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Able and willing to work on-call schedule: nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
